1st Generation
The First Generation is you and me and all the things we could and could not have done and did or din't.
______
Our nation states drift towards conservative and isolationist policies, yet rely on the European Commision more and more
to negotiate a multitude of crises, the largest of which is the growing social and industrial consequences of an ever shifting climate.
2nd Generation
The Second Generation are our Children in flesh and spirit. They are bound to our follies and enact our mistakes.
______
Even radical policy changes like the socialisation of heavy industries and sweeping reforms to balance european climate efforts against
the needs of an open market economy fail to stop the ever cascading climate transformation.
3rd Generation
The Third Generation is nothing like us, they live nothing like us, they love nothing like us.
______
After the dissolution of nation states, and reorganisation of habitation and industry,
human life exists against a relentless but stable climate.
All homes are temporary,
all relationships fleeting, all identity fluid.
